From December 17 to December 20, nearly 40 travel agents and influencers from countries including Belarus, Russia, Japan, Vietnam, Iran, and Cambodia are invited to take a journey to explore Guangdong province, experiencing the rich cultural and tourism resources here while fostering international connections and tourism opportunities. The four-day trip, organized by the Department of Culture and Tourism of Guangdong Province, starts in Guangzhou, the capital city of Guangdong, China, and will continue to Dongguan, Shenzhen, and Jiangmen.
On the first day of their journey, the team visited the Baietan Greater Bay Area Art Center, Cantonese Opera Art Museum, Canton Tower, and the Pearl River. Coinciding with their visit, China announced an extension of its visa-free transit policy from 144 hours to 240 hours – a significant boost for short-term visitors and a reflection of China’s ongoing efforts to enhance its international exchange and tourism industry. As travel influencers, what do they think of this kind of change? And what do they want to share with their followers? Follow GDToday for more details on their reactions and experiences!
